Connecticut boy with autism missing in Texas!

Texas authorities and a number of volunteers are continued to search for a 9-year-old Connecticut boy who is autistic and non-verbal.

The Young boy Marcus McGhee disappeared from a home he was visiting for Thanksgiving. He was last seen around 4 p.m. Thursday at a residence in the 6700 block of Fite.

The police said in a statement Friday morning, that, "Unfortunately there is no new information regarding the ongoing search for Marcus McGhee."  "With daylight we are hopeful that volunteers may have more luck with search efforts."

According to the Pearland police, the number of volunteers turning out had the search team "at capacity" but they may need more volunteers. They encouraged people to look near their homes and neighborhoods.

"There is a bayou and retention ponds in that area that may be attractive to autistic children," police said in a statement.

Pearland Police Officer Michael Arnold, said that, "He probably won't respond to his name if you call him." "Don't holler at him or chase him," Arnold said. Marcus is from Connecticut and does not know the area, the officer said.
