A half dozen kids were shocked by electricity on a Connecticut boardwalk ride on Tuesday.
Police informed that six children were rushed to a local hospital with minor injuries after being shocked on the Scrambler at Ocean Beach Park in New London. New London is about 50 miles west of New Haven and eight miles east of the Rhode Island border
According to the officials the shock came as the riders were getting off the whirling attraction. One boy suffered burns to his hands while he touched a bar to step off the ride. The other five kids suffered even more minor injuries.
The operator said that he also felt the shocking current. Rides were shut down on Tuesday, and Ocean Beach Park has been investigating the incident.
