The OnePlus 13s is set to launch in India shortly. On Monday, the company unveiled the first official teaser for this new member of the OnePlus 13 lineup. The teaser provides insights into the design, color selections, and key features of the OnePlus 13s. It will be offered in at least two different color options and sports a sleek design. The OnePlus 13s is expected to be a rebranded iteration of the OnePlus 13T, which was recently introduced in China. The smartphone manufacturer announced its launch in India through a post on X, which was previously known as Twitter. Although the precise launch date has not been disclosed, the teaser image includes a "coming soon" label and showcases the rear design of the soon-to-be-released device. The phone appears in black and pink shades, featuring a dual rear camera setup.
The new smartphone seems to share the same design elements as the OnePlus 13T, which was presented in China earlier this month. The specific names for these color options are anticipated to be disclosed in the coming weeks. OnePlus has confirmed that the OnePlus 13s will be equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor and will have a 6.32-inch display. The teaser reveals the device's new Short Key, which replaces the traditional alert slider. It will also be sold through Amazon. The information released by OnePlus suggests that the OnePlus 13s effectively brings the OnePlus 13T to the Indian market under a new branding. The OnePlus 13T was introduced in China earlier this month at a starting price of CNY 3,399 (approximately Rs. 39,000) for the version with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
Running on Android 15 complemented by ColorOS 15.0, the OnePlus 13T features a 6.32-inch Full-HD+ (1,264×2,640 pixels) display, boasting a global peak brightness of up to 1,600 nits and an adaptive refresh rate of 120Hz. It includes a robust metal frame. The device is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, offering up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and can have up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. Its dual rear camera configuration consists of two 50-megapixel sensors alongside a 16-megapixel front-facing camera. Despite its smaller size, the OnePlus 13T houses a 6,260mAh battery with support for 80W fast charging. Noteworthy is its departure from the Alert Slider, replaced instead by a new Shortcut Key. The device holds an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance and features an in-display fingerprint sensor.
